What to expect from laser hair removal at Sedona
Before your first session
We recommend arrive at your appointment with a clean shave. Avoid waxing or plucking 2 weeks before treatment, as the laser treatment targets the follicle, which must be intact to be effective. A complimentary consultation is available if you want to discuss your goals and candidacy before booking.
During treatment
Treatment time varies by area; small areas can take minutes and large areas may take up to an hour. The laser delivers quick pulses of energy to the hair follicle. Most patients describe the sensation as a brief snap or warmth at each pulse.

After treatment
Some redness or minor swelling in the treated area is normal and typically resolves within a few hours. There is no required downtime, most patients return to their regular schedule immediately. We recommend avoiding sun exposure for one week after treatment.

Most patients complete 8 to 12 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, to treat all hair in a given area across its full growth cycle.
